I love the #mood of this still life. She has no scruples and almost a seductive/super confident look, which, for 1912 is a breath of fresh air. Did you know that before the era of taking afternoon tea in the library or sitting room, afternoon tea was a pastime that the lady of the house would enjoy in her chambers? Here are a few facts about me that you may not know:

1) Snow gives me life. Yup. Gloomy weather and snow are my jam. Sunny days make me grumpy and uncomfortable. People always look at me like I have five heads when I say this, but I have met some soul friends like my friend Christina from @my.petitejoys who also feels the same. That's why I LOVE CHICAGO
2) I LOVE CHICAGO! Yes. I have lived in DC, NYC, Vegas, San Fran, Bolivia and Bosnia and I have had shorter stints in other places and been to a ton of cities, and I would come back to Chicago every time. There are a million reasons, but we'll leave it there.
3) But there's an exception, because: I LOVE NEW ORLEANS MORE THAN CHICAGO. (What?! How can this be?! Didn't she just say she hates hot weather and loves Chicago?) It is my favorite place on earth. Almost as if it is where my alter-ego lives and comes from. I love costume, mardi gras, magic, the bayou, the laissez faire attitude and the fact that everyone there is so nice. STRANGE PEOPLE SAY HI TO YOU ON THE STREETS! It's so lovely. Also, I'm allowed to be contrary, ok? I'm a woman. thx.
4) I think that if we're going to be friends you need to know that I have a cat named Maxine and I work really hard so that my cat can have a good life.
